Some series within this collection (OOK/5,6 and 7), were donated directly to the Archives by the Old Oakhamian in question from 2018 onwards.

This collection highlights the achievements of Old Oakhamians after they have left Oakham School.

As far as is recorded, these items are fully appraised into the collection.

It is expected that this series will receive multiple accruals in the future, perhaps creating new series.
System of arrangement
This sub-fonds is divided into 42 series. Due to the nature of sporadic and intermittent collecting, this sub-fonds has been sorted into themes such as ephemera, reminiscences and memorials. However the majority of the series relate to a specific Old Oakhamian. Some series, such as OOK/5,6, and 7 were donated directly from the individual and as such have retained the order that they were donated in.
The sub-series in the series have been created to reflect the material that has been collected from a variety sources over the years.
Any digital files are stored in folders that replicate the series arrangement.
