A transcript written by John Barber in 1992 of F.C. Doherty's pamphlet published in 1932, titled 'The Story of Oakham Church, School and Castle', price sixpence. A copies are almost unattainable, Mr Barber wrote a copy to be kept permanently in the School Archives. Three pages A to C.

A collection of photographs and art work relating to the whole School Campus, in particular aerial photographs from 1937 of the School and the town, and a file of individual photographs of buildings around the campus. The oldest items in this sub-series date back to the 19th century.

A folder containing photographs of the School's buildings, facilities and campus, including a donation letter from Charles Hawes. The photographs were taken by Marshall, Keene and Co in 1937, probably commissioned by the Headmaster.

This file focusses on photographs on the School Campus throughout the years. Some photographs are of the whole campus, in particular aerial photographs taken by Aerofilms Ltd, and some are collection of individual buildings, taken by Companies or individuals.

A group of four articles entitled the 'New light on Oakham History' by W.L. Sargant which were printed in a newspaper. The articles are based on research undertaken by Mr Sargant in the Muniment Room of Westminster Abbey and written whilst he lived in Sidmouth, therefore in the late 1940s-early 1950s. A speech given by Headmaster John Buchanan on Speech Day 1966, paying tribute to the Guest, Sir Thomas Armstrong, discussing the building programme and the Music School, the new innovation that is College House, and boarding matters.
