Jerwood (1920-1937), Bertie Bowes (1937-1959) and John Barber (1959-1974). The next generation of Wharflands Housemasters was: John Barber, Malcolm Hardy (1974-1987) and Val Harvey (1987-2001).

An email from Jon Wills to all teaching staff regarding the history of Buggy Jerwood's oar and the 1908 London Olympics in which Jerwood competed. Rev F.H. Jerwood became the first Housemaster of Wharflands in 1920. There is also a list of five Old Oakhmian Olympians.
