This collection covers the multitude of sports that pupils can do at Oakham School. Sports include cricket, rugby, hockey, athletics, netball and swimming as some of the richest in terms of items in the sub-series.

Most sub-series have a good photographic record of first teams, alongside comprehensive fixture and team lists. Some sub-series will contain correspondence, programmes and administrative documents.

There is an extensive collection of trophies and shields awarded to pupils and Old Oakhamians for their sporting achievements.

George Robson is a former pupil of St Bees School and researched an OO and former St Bees's pupil, Donald Francis Neilson, who fell in the WW1 - 13 photographs of St Bees' campus, names carved on a wooden panel, Cricket 1st XI team and close-ups of Neilson, a plaque unveiled to commemorate St Bees pupils who fell in the WW1, memorials; 1 photocopy of a military picture of Neilson, The letter is Items A and B. BAFS Pavilion (since 2014)

A collection of documents relating to the BAFS Pavilion, built on Doncaster Close, on the site of the original cricket pavilion. It was opened on 24 May 2014, on Speech Day, by Mike Gatting. It was named BAFS after O.O. Brian Smith (‘54), captain of the school’s unbeaten first Rugby XV, Hockey XI and Cricket XI teams.
