A collection of material which focuses on Old Oakhamians and their military careers. The bulk of the collection focuses on the two World Wars and research of the OOs who sadly fell.

The strongest part of this sub-fonds is the material relating to the First World War. It contains research on many Old Oakhamians and whole OO families who fought during the conflict such as the Humfreys and the Scotts. Much of the material is paper research but there are some original photographic material included.

WWS/2 focuses on the Second World War. Most of the collection looks at Oakham between 1939 and 1945 or the commemorations that have subsequently occurred.

A collection of photographs and artworks of the school campus and buildings, and pupils and staff.

There is one series dedicated to a large collection of photographic negatives which show the campus, daily life at school, and special events. These cover the period 1978 - 1988.

One series focus on the frescoes painted by Mary Sargant Florence in Old School and is rich in research about the frescoes and the artist.

A re-print/ facsimile of an Oakhamian Magazine supplement. Includes photographs of the new Chapel, the order of service for the dedication on 29 October 1925, a report on the ceremony and a brief history of the building.

This collection highlights the depth and breadth of the school's curriculum and pupil's work. The drama and music sub-series are particularly detailed with their collection of production stills and programmes.

CUR/7 contains reports relating to the school's teaching and curriculum alongside timetables for lessons and exams, and comprehensive examination results for GCSE, A Level and IB.

Throughout the series in this collection, there is material relating to events and trips undertaken by various departments to increase the extra-curricular activities of pupils.

A list of Trustees, Old Oakhamians, Parents of present boys and Personal friends who raised the Sargant Presentation Fund in order that an organ might be placed in Oakham School Memorial Chapel.
