This series focuses on the boarding girls in Orchard Close (built in 1929), later Buchanans House. It became a girls' boarding house in early October 1975 and Michael Stevens was its first Housemaster. It was renamed Buchanans House in Summer 1977, following the retirement of Headmaster J.D. Buchanan. Work was completed on Buchanans house in 1982 and the extension was ready for occupation in January 1983. The house was first a Seventh Form house and transitioned to a Middle School house in the 1980s.

A collection of photographs and other documents relating to the history of the Art and Design buildings. On 25th April 2009, the Jerwood School of Design was officially opened, even though it had been in use since September 2008 by teachers and pupils. It was built on the site of maintenance yard garages, adjacent to the Sports Hall.

This series focusses on the history of Oakham School Nursery, established for staff children. Most of the items are photographs from 1987 to 2001, when the Nursery was closed.

This series focusses on the headmastership of Oliver Richard Sylvester Bull (1977-1984) and contains items relating to the life at School in the 1970s and 1980s, its staff and pupils. One of the files relates to Michael Stevens as Acting Headmaster for two terms in 1985.

This sub-series focuses on the history of the 1993 Organ in the School Chapel. After the 1930 organ expired and was replaced by a computer organ in the 1980s, the headmaster Graham Smallbone commissioned for a new organ to be built. Some items highlight the various proposals, the correspondence focuses on the building and installation of the organ and the photographic file finally shows the organ in Chapel.

This series focuses on Peterborough House pupils and staff since its inception in 1966. Most of the series is made of house photographs, house magazines from the 1970s and various administrative documents.

A photographic file from the first two years of Stevens house. The photographs are individual shots of the girls when they first came to the house, as well as an informal photograph of the Sixth form. The photographs were initially gathered in a photo album.
